More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes two and a half years working at a gym childcare center, supervising children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old, ensuring their safety, and engaging them in fun activities like arts and crafts.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoyed spending time with the kids doing a variety of activities. One of my favorites was helping them with different crafts each week. I loved seeing their creativity come to life as we worked together on projects like coloring, painting, and simple DIY crafts. Playing air hockey was another fun activity that the older kids especially enjoyed, and it always brought out their competitive side. For quieter moments, we’d spend time coloring, which allowed the kids to express themselves through their artwork. I also enjoyed building with Legos, as it encouraged teamwork and problem-solving. These activities not only helped keep the kids engaged, but also gave us a chance to bond and have fun together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and supportive environment for the kids. It’s about building trust with both the children and their parents, so they feel comfortable and know they can rely on you. Being patient and understanding is key because every child is different and has their own needs. You also have to be attentive, not just to their safety, but to their emotional and developmental growth. It’s not just about watching them, but engaging with them in ways that are both fun and educational. Balancing responsibility with a little fun is what makes the job meaningful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Even though I’ve never been a nanny, one of my favorite moments at the job was when this little boy would pretend to be Batman. He’d run around the room, singing the Batman theme song as loud as he could. It was so funny to watch him get so into character, making superhero poses and acting like he was on a mission. It was moments like those that reminded me how fun and imaginative kids can be. It made the job feel less like work and more like an opportunity to enjoy their creativity.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Wilson, NC: Ryley M.
Hi, my name is Ryley. I’m 20 years old, and I’ve been babysitting since I was 16. Caring for children has always come naturally to me, especially since I have a younger brother who I regularly look after, along with his friends. Through these experiences, I’ve become very comfortable managing multiple kids at once while keeping them safe, engaged, and happy.
I am responsible, patient, and attentive, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and at ease when leaving their children in someone else’s care. I enjoy creating a fun, positive environment while also maintaining structure and routines when needed. I’m also dependable, organized, and good at handling unexpected situations calmly.
I would love the opportunity to provide a safe and caring environment for your child, and I’m committed to being someone both you and your child can trust.
