Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love games/ Puzzles. I feel like the brightest children are constantly utilizing their brain making it work harder so they can be smarter.
My girls and I also do a "gym class" where I let them go outside and play anything they was as long as they are moving for up to 2 hours or if weather is bad we do in home stretches and child friendly exercises to keep the blood pumping but also helps them sleep at night.
Crafts is something else I like to do with them. It allows them to express themselves and children have this mentality where they are constantly getting care and love from their parents and family but they feel like they can't return it without a present or hugs and kisses. So allowing them to get creative and make something for whoever they want, however they want allows them to get that thankfulness out without the constant touching.

My experience with special needs children...
The only special needs experience I have would me with my youngest aunt, she has down syndrome. I also didn't have much time around her until about 4-5 years ago my other aunt took her into her care to where I see her more often but I don't get to really care for her. However I do know all the stuff my other aunt has gone through and is still going through taking care of her.
