A little bit about me

Hello. I am Taranjeet Kaur, a graduate student from Adrian. Wilcox High School. I am a 17 year old female who is going to attend UC Merced this fall 2021. I was part of the link crew at my school. I decided to do the Link crew program to develop my leadership skills by being engaged at school. The program really interested me to be part of because I loved the idea of students helping students, increasing academic success through peer support. I was confident to do this program since it had a positive impact on students and I knew I can work with my young fellows. I guided them through their questions, played games, and told them how group work and communication is essential in every aspect of life. Through this experience,I discovered how much I love helping my young ones, inspiring them, guiding them and educating them about things I regret not doing in high school. I believe the time I spent with freshmen and things I told them influenced them to work hard and enjoy their four years.
