I have been a student teacher for preschoolers and children in elementary. I’ve also been a care giver for many years at my church in Vacaville so the parents can enjoy the service. I’ve dealt with crying, calm, shy, and all types of different personalities as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading stories, going to the park, and making fun stimulating artistic activities. I don’t believe kids should be heavily influenced with too much screen time. If there is a library nearby I’d love to take them there and do fun activities the city provides for free! I am a musician and love to play the piano or ukelele and sing!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember when there was an earthquake I took the kids under the staircase closet as precaution. We brought flash lights and snacks and made a whole mini adventure with story time about being brave. The kids were not scared and I felt so proud of them.
