I am a certified CNA, i have cpr and first aid training. I volunteer at a special needs group as a youth counselor. I have gone on a humanitarian trip working mainly with kids in both Thailand and Guatemala. I have babysat and nannied for most of my life.

I enjoy everything! I love being able to make priceless memories with kids! Seeing the smiles on their faces when doing anything they love is something that I look forward to!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think it is super important to build trust with not only the kids, but the parents. As a nanny, you want the kids to feel safe and comfortable around you. If they see you as someone they can trust, like a friend, the trust builds immensely and you form a very important bond with them.
My experience with special needs children...
I nannied for a family with a newborn baby girl, a 1 year old little girl with sever down syndrome, and a 2 year old little boy with autism. I absolutely adored them and joined a special needs group as a counselor because of the love i had for their family.

And I do. I am a great cook and am happy to do some cleaning. I enjoy anything outdoors but am also always happy to just have a home day. I do what I can to always add some education into whatever activity I do with my son. If they’re having fun they don’t realize they’re learning something haha! I am comfortable with all age groups of children though I’d prefer no more than 6 kids at a time. I need my Saturday and Sunday to stay open but am available anytime before 7:30pm on a weekday.
