During my senior year of High School I participated in a volunteer program at a local elementary school with a class of first graders, the experience was really rewarding as i got to read to them, help them with their school work, as well as partake in their class activities with them and bond with the students!

going on walks as well as just sitting outside to read a book to be able to enjoy the sunshine especially when it's nice out, while also catering specifically to the child's direct desires and restrictions.

One time when i was doing the volunteer aide for the school i was referencing earlier, it was Dr. Seuss day and they had all made hats for the Cat in the Hat and it was just so interesting to see them be excited to make and try on their hats it reminded me of my own experiences in elementary school and it was just a fond nostalgic moment.
