A little bit about me

I was a full-time nanny in Dallas, TX, and just moved to Nevada City yesterday. I am looking to secure a position asap. I’d love something full-time but am open to part-time as well. My experience is working with 1 child but also am open to multiple children as well. I have a degree in early childhood education and many years of experience. I am passionate about what I do and love working with children. I believe it is truly the most rewarding career. I have worked with children ages 6 months-3 years. I am not a babysitter; I am an extension of the parent. My goal is to learn the ideals of the family in order to mirror what they hope to instill in their child/children along with their parenting style. I do my best to be a Montessori-type nanny. My work is child-centered with open-ended play and learning. I focus on child-led development to allow the child to explore and discover. I am basic life support and CPR trained.
