The most important part about being a nanny to me is being able to build a close loving relationship with the child, while they trust in me and feel safe with me. It is important to me that I create a bond with them to where not only do they look forward to seeing me but they look up to me as well. Yes, I have experience with special needs children. I have experience with children whom have had autism and down syndrome. In my experiences, children with special needs acquire extra attention. I loved being able to work with each unique individual to educate and help them through their daily obstacles. I am a very calm person and have a lot of patience when it comes to children.
