My name is Taylor. I am a college student at The Masters University. I am a big sister to three siblings and enjoy spending time with them. I recently worked at an after school childcare center with 25 Kindergartners. I believe in treating children with love and respect, and motivating them with positivity and fun. My most recent job was working as a nanny 30 hours per week for a six month old baby. I loved that family and enjoyed it so much.
I like to take walks, read books, paint and still have the heart of a child. I get down on a knee to speak to a child at his or her level and try to instill character into them. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat many children from 6 months to 12 years old. I have also volunteered at my church with toddler age as well as school age kids. I was a table leader at Vacation Bible school with 6 kids for a week and have three younger siblings. In the past I worked for a year at an after school childcare center with Kindergarteners Monday through Friday . Most recently I have been a nanny for a six month old 30 hours per week. Unfortunately that family needs me full time and I am unable to work full time while in college.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading books, drawing and coloring, playing at the park, taking walks, imaginary play. With my siblings we have tea parties, create a box city in the summer, make mud pies with dirt and flowers etc., paint, play play-doh, board games. With babies I love to rock them, sing songs. read books etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Respecting the parents wishes, keeping the kids safe, acting responsible and being a role model. Also motivating kids behavior through positive reinforcement and knowing the difference between childish behavior and intentional disobedience. Finally having fun with your kids and being dependable and someone the parents can rely on.
