I come from a big family with many siblings, within my years I have watched my own siblings for weekends at a time, while taking them to any school events as well as extracurricular activities. I have also nannied for family friends . I was also a 6th camp counselor for foothill horizons which they asked for me to join them for another journey.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activities that I love to do with children is making them feel like kids, like doing artwork and creative activities. With all of my young siblings and other kids I have cared for I have noticed so many of them are addicted to their ipads or ipods. I love to encourage the idea of getting away from the device and learning real world experiences.

The most important part of being a nanny is to make sure the child feels safe and cared for. Yes it’s important to have fun but it’s also crucial to enforce boundaries. I want every kid I care for to feel like they are having the best time but is also making smart choices with everything they do!
My experience with special needs children...
Unfortunately this is something I have not yet come across on. But I would love the opportunity to learn more about this.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when I taught a younger child to swim. Then using those skills all summer watching her love the water.
