I am a very personable, outgoing, caring, and hardworking person who likes to stay busy. I have a 14 year old son who is a freshman, and a 2 1/2 year old daughter who just stared preschool 3 days a week. I enjoy meeting new people and taking the time to get to know them. I am a kid at heart and love doing activities including, planning adventures, being creative, and taking every opportunity to teach them new things. I am a very organized, detail oriented and hands on. I like working with all different aged children because I feel each milestone reached is special and exciting In it’s own way. I am also a very clean person and will help with housework, cleanup and even laundry if needed. Even though I am only looking for part time work I hope to build lasting relationships with the families I am working for because I feel that it is important. I have children of my own and also lots of nieces and nephews. I also began babysitting when I was younger and have always enjoyed working with children!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outdoors, exploring, going to the park, or taking a walk. I am also very creative and enjoy arts and crafts, reading stories, dancing, or playing games.

The most important part of being a nanny for me is that the kids enjoy their time with me and are happy to have me back. I try to incorporate not just fun experiences but learning experiences for them and make our time together enjoyable.

My experience with special needs children...

My best friends daughter is autistic and does not speak but is one of the sweetest kids I have ever met. Children with special needs just learn differently and it is important to take the time to understand their needs and have patience with them.
