It is essential to me that children feel loved, safe, comfortable, and cared for. I want to help kids learn and grow and have fun while doing it! I know how important it is for parents to have someone they can rely on, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
My experience with special needs children...
For two years, I volunteered with Shooting Stars, a basketball program for children with disabilities. Each week, I worked one-on-one with kids to help them learn basketball skills in a fun, active, and safe environment. This experience gave me the opportunity to build patience, gentleness, adaptability, and confidence in supporting children with diverse needs.
