Working with children is a passion for. I love watching them grow and learn new things and watching them whenever I get the chance to and I am always open to learn new things about kids and their families. I was a nanny for almost a year but we departed due to them moving and me working at a daycare has taught me a lot of things about children and taught me a lot more patience. Working at a daycare centers has taught me so much and has molded me on how to manage a lot of different children, how to communicate with them and teach them how to communicate with me and articulate their words and teach them independence.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to work as a gymnastics instructor for a few years. I was an Assistant Teacher for almost 2 years. I was a nanny for almost a year. I am currently an Assistant Teacher and have been since September of 2024.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Puzzles, learning colors, learning numbers, learning shapes, learning how to write and spell their names and sight words, fun indoor and outdoor activities, playground, and etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making the child feel comfortable and safe. Making sure that the child feels like they can be without their parents for a couple of hours and still enjoy themselves as if their parents aren’t even gone. To make sure that the children are enjoying every bit of themselves, to help them learn new things while making it fun, encouraging them and witnessing them try new things and learn new things.

My experience with special needs children...

I’m not exactly sure where the children have placed on the spectrum other than speech delayed, but I have worked with children on the spectrum along with behavioral issues on and off for the past almost 3 years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have many favorite moments with children. It warms my heart the most when the kids run to give me hugs when they first come in and when they leave to end their day.
