A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Taylre (pronounced Taylor). I have been around smaller children my entire life. I started babysitting when I was about 10 years old and have loved it ever since. I have TA’d in a classroom for about a year and loved working with the children. I have babysat 2 young boys with special needs and had a lot of fun learning more about them. The most children I have ever babysat at once was 8. I enjoy working with kids any age from newborn-9 years old. I go to selah high school so I would only be able to work after school or on weekend (or school breaks). My school gets out at 2:10 so I am available after 2:30. I took the test to become a certified babysitting around 3-4 years ago so I plan to redo it this year and become CPR certified as soon as possible. I really love kids all ages and genders! I have no problem working with multiple kids and I am good with animals, as well!

I have been babysitting since I was 10 years old. I TA’d in a kindergarten/first grade class and my child psychology class held a “play school” for 2 weeks. I am currently a long term nanny for a 1.5 year old boy.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat 2 boys with special needs. The youngest was 5 and he has Down syndrome and the oldest was 11 and he has Down syndrome, behavioral issues, learning disabilities, and is nonverbal.
