The most important part about being a nanny to me is being able to connect. Anyone can babysit, but the children are not always comfortable. I make sure that I help a child feel as comfortable as possible.

I have cared for a couple of children with autism and one with Cerebral Palsy. I have also worked with Dyslexic children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite, but saddest, nanny moment would have to be when I left the last family that I nannied for to go away for college. The little boy said “I don’t want another babysitter and I don’t want you to leave!” Something I will never forget.
