Became a paraprofessional substitute teacher for Lorain City Schools. In [phone number hidden] with ages of preschool through High School. Also did private duty watching friends and family children taking them to school, attending conferences, and other school activities. Meal prepping, outside play to parks, and traveling to outdoor events. I also volunteered at my church with vacation bible study with the different age groups of children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
The indoor activities that I do with kids are assist with homework, structure play, listening to music and dancing. Exercise, story time, baking age appropriate recipes and game boards. The outdoor activities that I have performed are doing bubbles, going hiking at the park or just walking and playing at the park. Learning about nature, ball and toy playing, jump roping, baby pool playing, music events, and field trips to museums and science centers.
The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters to me about being a nanny is that I'm able to show them the extra love of caring and being attentive to them while mom and dad is away. Where the children can feel safe and comfortable knowing someone will be there for them always.
My experience with special needs children...
The type of special needs children that I have cared for Autistic teen boys of their ages from 11-14. That are non-verbal assist with events with the the family, restaurants, farm outings, took kids to the park, lake, hiking and have picnics also. Did just about everything with the family that I enjoyed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One if the funniest moment that I had with the twins are. When its time to leave and one of the twins are hiding and the other one is looking for his brother to go get him to get ready. A sweet moment is when they out of the blue gives me a hug and want to be bothered at that moment.
