In Boerne, I started subbing at the elementary level in 1996, at Fabra and Curington. Opened Kendall Elementary in 2001 as the Music Assistant. Wrote and directed the school wide talent shows and grade level programs. Formed a new curriculum called Physical Activity Time in which all students could enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, exercises, games. Object was to be more active, take direction, work together in teams, and ultimately strengthen stamina using play. Ultimately moved to Corpus Christi to join the Special Needs program, levels K through 2nd grade. Taught sign language in after school clubs. Most recently I have been a Nanny for twin boys age 4-5 months. Retirement is not for me. My gifts are caring for and teaching children how to explore and learn about the world around them. I am CPR and First Aid certified. Speak some Spanish and taking classes to become fluent. Thank you.
