One memorable nanny moment was when a little boy I was caring for wanted to "help" bake cookies. He insisted on measuring everything himself, even though it resulted in a flour-covered kitchen (don't panic,
I cleaned the mess lol ) and a few giggles over misshapen cookies. His pride when we pulled the cookies out of the oven and he declared, "I made these!" was priceless. It was a sweet reminder of how children find joy in the simplest accomplishments.
