More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

During the COVID pandemic, I cared for one child and supported her through a period of limited social interaction. I worked to keep her engaged, connected, and emotionally supported during such an unusual and challenging time. This experience strengthened my ability to create stability, comfort, and meaningful routines even in uncertain circumstances.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging kids in pretend play, arts and crafts, and creative, hands-on activities that spark their imagination. Outdoors, I enjoy taking them to the playground, riding bikes and scooters, and going on beach or museum trips. I also love incorporating movement through gymnastics and dance to help them let all that energy out, as well as kid yoga for mindfulness and intentional downtime to rest and recharge. Reading stories together and visiting the library are also some of my favorite ways to connect and learn with kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment where children feel comfortable fully expressing themselves. I love encouraging them as they explore, experience, and learn about the world around them. What matters most to me is that they feel seen, heard, understood, and genuinely cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

I previously cared for a child with partial hearing loss and a speech impediment, and I worked closely with her speech pathologist to help reinforce the skills she was learning. Watching her vocabulary grow and her confidence develop was incredibly fulfilling, and it meant so much to play an active role in her progress.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was during bedtime with a little one I cared for. We were cozied up reading stories, and after a few books she asked if I could stay with her until she fell asleep. Of course, I did — and we ended up drifting off together because she felt so comfortable, safe, and secure. It was such a tender reminder of the trust children place in us.
