I have been a nanny for an amazing family the past two years, working with a toddler and a new baby. After going back to work full time after baby was born, mom decided she wanted to be a SAHM instead, so I am looking for a new family to care for! I also have other extensive experience in child and adolescent care. This includes teaching swim lessons, coaching middle and high school swim team, working with all ages at a learning academy/daycare, creating and holding craft and activity summer camps for neighborhood kids, teaching kindergarten dance, and being a mentor at an adolescent residential treatment center.

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, one of most important parts of being a nanny is the relationship between a nanny and a family. Sleep regressions and diaper changes bring parents and nannies together, but the communication, boundaries, and genuine relationships keep nannies and families together. The other aspect of nannying that is really important is safety. Your child's health, safety, and security will always be my top priority whether at home, in the neighborhood, or out and about.

The most important part about being a nanny...
There are way too many to choose just one, but the three-yr-old little girl I nanny is one of the most curious and adventurous kids I have ever met! Some of my favorite memories with her are from outings like exploring the botanical gardens or natural history museum. Being able to experience life from a toddler's perspective is always an adventure and I love helping her learn how the world works! Some of my other favorite memories are of making crafts, going on walks, and having endless dance parties. It is incredible to see a child grow and develop, and being a part of that is a very special privilege.
