First off Hi! My name is Thea, Im a single mom to a 3 year old girl, that is why I stopped being a Nanny in September to 3 awesome kids that I still see. I understand the fear of having someone to trust to watch your kids, it’s an anxiety only a parent could have. If you want someone who will not only take care of your babies properly but will create a trusted relationship with them, then Im the nanny for you. I will have to bring my daughter but I want to make it clear all kids will get equal care and love. I have no quarrels cooking, cleaning or running errands and if an emergency happens I will take any steps to make sure they are okay including putting their safety above my own. But my first step is to prevent that! I’m trying to be a single mom with a job in a way that I know helps another family with the same anxiety about childcare that I have had. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to take kids to have fun, that includes swimming, going to the park, the movies, making forts, movie night at home with popcorn, letting them get artistic, karaoke in the living room, whatever makes their little heart flutter with joy is what I enjoy. Life is all about memories and if I can give them just 1 good memory that brings them joy then Im doing my job.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A nanny doesn’t have just one job. They have multiple. Being a nanny is about the well-being of the child, but for me that includes safety, trust, fun, good memories, their mental health and physical health, and having another adult they can trust. I dont want my own daughter or any child to dread when the nanny comes over, I want them to be filled with joy and excitement. While the parents are filled with relief and peace. My job as a nanny is to make another families life better to sum it up. :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I watched 5 kids all at once, I know crazy! But all the kids were in the living room ages 6-16 and it was a mix of video games and watching tv between them all, I was making smoothies for all of us and it was the moment I knew I wanted to be a mom. I’ll never forget the joy that brought for me.
