A little bit about me

Hi! I am a 57 yr young single woman who takes care of her mom and LOVES children! I wasn't able to have my own but way back starting in my teens, ive worked, taking care of kids of all ages, from babies on through pre teens. Children just naturally take to me as I'm very patient, fun loving, capable, & with a firm but loving personality. I believe in consequential parenting, giving the child choices, and time outs all dependant on the age of the child. I believe in being firm with a child and remaining calm sin[hat they understand who the adult is and can feel secure about consistency of rules. Mostly I believe in alot of love and creating a very positive self esteem, reminding [hrm that they are capable of doing and becoming whatever they want to reach for in life. I don't believe in calling a child or their behavior " bad" instead I'll point out the behavior that isn't acceptable, the reason and an alternative. Mostly I'll give them room to express themselves and be heard.
