Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with small disabled children and horses with therapeutic riding. I also worked for Girl Scouts of Utah back during the summer of 2006. I have some earlier experiences with babysitting while I was a teenager. I also helped with close friends' and neighbors' children and love having fun times with them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
The activities I enjoy the most are playtime and reading, and being able to have fun with children. I also don't mind being able to help out with bottle feeding, diaper changing, or sleep training.
The most important part about being a nanny...
being able to know when things are important, to act accordingly. Also, in emergencies to call and act fast in medical problems or when a child needs urgent care. While I worked at the Girl Scouts of Utah, I was certified in both CPR and first aid, both have expired. But I am willing to get recertified in both, since it's a requirement to act in those medical situations.
My experience with special needs children...
I have about a year's worth of experience with disabled children and horses. The smaller children who rode horses ranged in younger 2 years old to about 9 years old. I also have a severely differently able family member who I am close to, even though they are now an adult women who is now being cared for in a facility.
