A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Theresa and I am 51 years old. My husband of 25 years and myself raised our four adult kids , who now have their own family's that they are raising and in total they gave us twelve unique , special grandkids.
I met and started helping at the time a family of three and stayed with them until April 2024 . Helping with all three of their kids from birth so the parents could work and not have to worry about the Littles.
I DOORDASH for extra money and Thursday through Sunday are my busy days. Monday through Wednesday I've got an open time availability. Which is all flexible. I would prefer to meet the right family and slowly get to know prior to any long term commitment and if all goes well with a full schedule I'd rather not have to do DOORDASH.
I need one paid days to shadow parent , get to know family , learn routine, and take notes myself so their is no mistakes as to what is
expected where things goes and how it works.

I enjoy going on walks , making blanket forts, making race tracks for hot wheels , arts and crafts, baking cookies , riding bikes, games of all sorts. Dances with nursey rhymes painting

The most important part about being a nanny...

I'm a big love , but I'm not a push over either . Open communication with any child is so important. I always make it known that I'm a good listener and will always be there if they need a good ear. I don't want any child to fear me , ever, ever! I never lie and break their trust . I allow them to be silly when it's fun time but they know when silly time is over it's time to be serious.

My experience with special needs children...

I've not experienced any up close and personal with any special need children but I'm a fast learner and kids are kids they want to play and have fun just like any other little one. Obviously if I meet a family with a child that has special needs I'll look to the family for guidance. I will also learn what I can on my own.
