Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My mother is a caregiver full time for three young babies she has been with different families over the years most of the time until the children are going to elementary. Over the summer I spent a lot of times with them learning bbg a lot about them and how to care for them. I also grew up with alot of cousins and siblings. I have 7 siblings so there were many things to learn coming from them and also taking care of my younger siblings. I now babysit for family and friends and whenever I am recommended to someone.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and craft, singing lullabies ,going to the park, reading books, watching movies, and playtime with them. I also will assure they have their homework done as I have a little brother that loves playtime but I assure him that homework needs to be done first.
My experience with special needs children...
My stepmother use help run a special needs camp and in the summer we would all go down for about 2-3 weeks and have fun activities for them. Some kids families struggled which camp came in handy to them. We played games, had fun activities such as arts and craft, singing, going to the beach, lunch, and having one on one time with them individually.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I had babysat for this really nice family. They had the most sweetest baby ever. She was about 11 months. She did nothing but smile most of them. Everylittle thing I did she laughed. It made my heart smile.
