Hello, everyone!
My name is Tia. I have almost 30yrs of experience in helping children grow and learn! They are the most important people on this planet. I've gone to reserve as a Deputy for Beauregard Parish for over a year now, so, it's time to go back to what I LOVE doing the most! I currently help head up the infants room at church, as well. I've also been a preschool teacher with many classes passed in Child Development, as well as classes in Child Psychology. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have almost 30yrs of experience babysitting and being a Nanny. I was a preschool teacher, and have passed many classes in Child Development and classes in Child Psychology. I have taken over 3yrs of Christian Counseling classes, as well. I absolutely LOVE helping children grow and learn! I currently help head up the nursery at my Fellowship, and also have volunteered at the local Community Care Center (formally known as The Pregnancy Care Center) here in DeRidder for over 5yrs. I love helping my community and helping others get the things they need for their children.😊

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I respect any and ALL rules that parents set for their children. I also love helping with day planning, games to grow and learn for their age groups, and almost anything outside!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The fact that you are their absolute trusted guardian until parent(s) come home. It is such an important job to not take lightly, and to ENJOY. They look to us for anything they need, and it is an incredible privilege to help.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are when they try to do something for the first time, lol. When I was a Nanny, the oldest boy, Garrett (7), tried telling a joke for the first time...🤣 He found the joke too funny himself, and couldn't make it through, having us all rolling on the floor. My other favorite moments are when they get their FAVORITE SONG and when I play it, they're singing at the top of their lungs, in which I record a video and send it straight to their parents, lol! I send 1-2hr updates to the parents. Whether it be photos or video updates. 😊
