A little bit about me

Hello! I’m 21 years of age! I’ve practically been raising & baby sitting kids my whole life. Since I was younger I raised my cousins growing up & once I got old enough I started babysitting for other people. I’ve babysat for my moms co workers, I also used to work at a daycare in 2019. Children’s Corner Daycare! I had a classroom of children from ages 4-9 years old. I love kids and have always loved kids. I’m naturally a nurturing person, kids bring me joy and I’d love to have my own one day! In the mean time I love to be a big help to others! I can watch kids from all ages, I can cook for them, entertain them, clean, I can do it all. I’ve been caring for kids since I was young myself! I would love to be a big help to your family it would bring me much joy. I feel it is my calling to help, care, nurture for others. I’m currently working at a daycare now from 8:30-5:30 so I’m available at night and on weekends.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In summer 2019 I worked at Children’s Corner Daycare where I cared for school agers 4-9, I had a classroom with 12-18 students. I’ve also babysat for my mothers coworkers for about two years. I’ve baby sat 1-4 children at a time from ages 6months- 7 years of age. I know everything there is to know about about kids, I have great experience, & enjoy caring for them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Indoor activities I love with children are coloring, puzzles, painting!! Watching movies, board games, learning kid friendly songs, or anything that would bring joy to the child as long as it’s safe. Outside we could play catch, jump-rope, draw with chalk, blow bubbles, go for a walk, play catch.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a Nanny is being patient & understanding but also you have to have communication skills. Just because your dealing with a child doesn’t make it any different, you need to just be calm and talk to them and let them know that you’re there for them & they will soon learn to adapt to you, kids just want to know they have some one who is safe & secure.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a elder sister with Down syndrome & growing up I’d watch my mother take care of her & me my sister would also help care for her. In my old classroom at the daycare I had one student with special needs & I had to make sure I gave him his medicine on time every day & document it as well.
