What matters to me to be a nanny is making sure they are safe the entire time they are in my care and making sure they are happy and healthy. Also communication to the family during the time i’m there, like giving updates, following what the parents wants/needs, and being dependable.

It means a lot to me that I can be a steady, kind presence in a child’s life someone they trust and feel comfortable with. I also love I forming close, trusting relationships with the children I care for. Watching them grow and knowing I play a part in their development is incredibly rewarding.
