I worked as an after school teaching aid for the city of Lancaster, as well as summer nanny jobs for 2 consecutive years for a family I live near.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing whatever the kids want to do. I’ve learned that following them and what thy want to do (within reason, of course) they’ll have the most fun. I enjoy reading books, singing songs, and playing games.

Being caring and helping them hit milestones. Also helping the parents do the things they need to do without worrying about their child’s needs for the moment.

My first summer nannying, one of the little girls was almost 1 year and took her first steps with me. It was so heartwarming being able to document that for her parents.
