My name is Tiffany and I am here to help! I am a single mother of 3 amazing children who are now almost all grown!I'm 36,independent,outgoing,fun loving,open-minded,trustworthy,loyal,dependable and passionate about what I can do to help your family.I grew up in a small country town on a farm,caring for all the animals,and basically raised my baby brother starting at the age of 8 years old.I've been a provider to my friends,my family,until I decided to try and make caregiving a career for myself,which initially started as a provider for the elderly suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED my job, but it's time for a change of pace and scenery. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was an independent in home care provider for 2 families with children of special needs. I also just recently was working a temp position as a Residential Adolescent Program Supervisor with a local company called 'BreakThrough Inc' working with younger kids and adolescents ranging anywhere from ages 4-18 years old. All of the kiddos were unfortunately either lost in the family court's system and basically grew up with our company, had just become wards of the state and are currently awaiting for their parents/guardians to complete all requirements in order to get back home to their families, or sadly suffered from EXTREME behavior issues due to neglect, mental disorders, physical and or sexual abuse, abandonment, depression, aggression, ptsd and many other unfortunate situations. We worked with the kids in very small groups in designated homes all over Spokane,WA. I supervised the kids that were in that specific program, along with my care staff while assisting the program manager.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Crafts, reading, singing, dancing, cooking and playing games

The most important part about being a nanny...

Providing your child/children with the ability to feel safe, nurtured, loved, and able to have a strong , trusting bond with one another. All while keeping a positive environment for them to experience the childhood they deserve and aspire for. Not to mention making sure we all have a blast and making sure not only their faces are smiling, but their hearts are as well. Providing your family and home with exceptional care and unconditional love is my #1 goal.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked through an agency as an independent provider for a few years and one of my clients I had was a 13 year old girl who had cerebral palsy, as well as a 9 year old boy who suffered from PTSD, ADHD and Autism. I cared for each of them roughly 2.5 years.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Every family I've had the pleasure of being a Nanny for holds it's own special memory and moments that I cherish and hold dear to my heart. There is nothing better than knowing your children trust in me, just as much as you as parents do, and we all share an unconditional bond with one another. So if at the end of my work day the kids are happy to see mom and dad, the house is clean, and everything went smoothly, and at the start of my next work day the kiddos are excited to see me and you as parents feel safe, confident, and comfortable with leaving your babies in my care... and are just as excited to see me as the kids are because you know that your house will look nice when you get home, and the kids are in perfect shape when you get home to where you don't have to worry about anything but kicking back, getting some sugar from your babes, and your main concern is, " what leggings do I wanna throw on? And where's my baggy sweatshirt?" LOL Then I've done my job right!
