The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite memories of my daughter growing up is those " ah ha" moments she would have. When something clicks in her mind, and she gets it for the first time. I was never big on her watching TV ( and she barely watches it as an adult) and I started letting her cook with me when she was about 3. She would do age appropriate tasks ( wash the lettuce, or mix something up) Her making a mess never bothered me, she was engaged and in the moment, and that is all that mattered to me. The mess can be cleaned up.
