Growing up, My grandmother, whom I admired, ran her very own home based daycare, I try to carry her patient, loving, thoughtful influence into my work as a babysitter. I actually have a niece and nephew who are 3 and 1 years old, and because my sister’s doesn't trust anyone else who is as loving, caring, responsible, and patient as me, I have been their babysitter from the time they were born until now, whenever they need me.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy playing and assisting children in their learning because it is very therapeutic for my inner child. Growing up was not always butterflies and rainbows, but from what I remember, my sister/little cousins and I would always play house or school or gymnastics, and my role was always the parent or teacher/instructor, which I can say is why I grew up to be how I am now when it comes to enjoyment with children.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a cousin who has autism, and despite not living in the same household, I grew up with him and saw him on a weekly basis. I have never worked with a special needs child, but I have some experience.
