I am a firm believer in meeting children where they are in order to help them reach their developmental goals. I am Mommy of four amazing children. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in the Child Development field since 1999. I have worked at three different child development programs. My most recent child development program was at the UTD Callier Center in Dallas. I worked as a Child Development Specialist III for 14 years (Feb 6- June 19, 2019). I started working full time as a Governess for the Dickson family August 5th. I worked with the Dickson’s from August 5th, 2019-December 6, 2024. I cared for their three children (girls 7 and 9, boy 5). I did school drop off and pick up, took them to activities, stayed with children if parents traveled (separate pay), prepared meals for children. I also did homeschooling and school readiness for all three children before they started public/ private school. I did sleep training and potty training for all three children as well. I have experience working with all ages, as well as children with special needs. I have also worked with foster care as a foster/adopt mommy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and craft and taking field trips to different places. Any activities that encourages children to reach their developmental goals.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me most of my work with children has been in a group care setting. When I became a governess/nanny being able to bond the children and their parents was very important to me. The bond is so much more different working as a private nanny. You become apart of the family.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with of all different abilities. I have worked with children on the autism spectrum, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, deaf, and mute. I also have some experience with G tube feedings.
