A little bit about me

Hello, I haven’t worked as a Nanny like my work experience says. That work experience is actually daycare where I took care of 8 kids in those age groups. So I know how to work with children and absolutely love it. I am also a mother of 3 (1y, 4y, 6y). In school I learned about early childhood education and I am majoring in child psychology as well. I am patient, respectful, and responsible. I don’t believe in punishment, I believe in redirecting behaviors or taking a break which means removing from situations and re-evaluate the cause of issues I use this more for older kids rather then younger ones. I always try and talk kids through their feelings, but sometimes they choose to wait and when they are ready to talk I am there to talk.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is the relationship between the child and nanny. You always want the child to feel safe in your company. I also believe the relationship between the nanny and parents is also very important. The parents should trust that their child(ren) are safe and being taken care of like they would.
