A little bit about me

I have experience caring for children aged 0-7+, as I have watched my nephews often ( who are now aged 3 & 7). I have education in the field of Certified Nursing Aide, as well as BLS/AED. I also have experience mentoring children with special needs. I love to keep children busy, and I am a firm believer in going outside... away from screen! My availability is flexible and I am willing to negotiate hourly wages. Thank You for your interest in me!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is the connection I am able to make with the children, and more importantly, the parents. My sister and brother-in-law both have full-time jobs, so I know how hard it is to leave your children, especially with someone you may not know! I love being the person YOU trust to leave your children with, and also the person who gets to make a difference in their life!

My experience with special needs children...

I have spent some time with special needs children, I would be willing to learn more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My Parents have 2 fat cats, and one of them really does not like humans. Especially tiny and loud ones. Cue my nephew, My Nephew is 7, and he LOVES animals. He was determined to pick up this huge cat, whether she wanted it or not. Most of the times she would hear the kids coming into the house and run away, but in this particular instance, she was too slow. My Nephew picked her up and was holding her just under her arms, because she was too heavy and he couldn't get a good grip on her. This poor cat's eyes were bulging out and her big fat belly was on display for all to see! He came into the Living Room yelling, "I got her! I got Puddy!" All of us burst out laughing, because we knew his lifetime dream was complete. Puddy was almost has tall as him when he picked her up, which made the situation even more perfect!
