I have been a nanny, a childcare provider, preschool teacher, etc.
I have 23 years of experience, education and training. I started my career as a nanny while in highschool and college; and I went to college for early childhood education. I have worked at a childrens camp for five years with school agers 3rd -5th grade. I have worked at three childcare centers working with all ages while in college. Also while in college I volunteered at elementary schools and preschools. I then started my own childcare and preschool and ran that working with all ages from April 2005-Dec 2020. I taught preschool for 16 years, taught infants & toddlers for 4 years in the early childhood field. I have been nannying since Sept 2021 also. I have worked with all ages at my church through Sunday school and awana in the last 14 years. After college I have continued to do trainings in the early childhood field every year since. I can get re-certified in CPR and first aid, I let my certification go in 2020.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Singing and dancing and listening to music. Bubbles and playing our game the floor is lava. Story time and sensory play. Messy play. Painting. Playdough. Arts and crafts. Outside time. Reading, lots of books. Field trips to the Frederick meijer gardens or the children's museum, libraries. Etc.
My experience with special needs children...
Includes working with adhd, and behavioral issues, speech delays, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum, asthma, food allergies, and diabetes.
