Worked as an assistant in an in-home daycare most recently. My daughter has a state certified daycare & I worked for her as an assistant. She has a degree in Child Development. Had my own in home daycare in the 90’s. That’s what inspired her to get a degree in Child Development.

To do no harm. To build them up & make sure they know they are loved & valued. I truly believe all children come from God’s throne. All designed by His hands with a special purpose. It’s our (yours & mine) responsibility to guide them to the path He laid out for them.
My experience with special needs children...
One of my earliest jobs was working at the Fort Worth State School in the early 80’s so I do have experience. However I would need to educate myself more to have current understanding about on what methods are best when working with special needs children.

Honestly, I love going over to my daughter’s during the week. They all stop what they’re doing and start saying “It’s Trisha, it’s Trisha! (My daughter will give me a book & I will read it to them.) I feel like I’m Mr. Rodger’s. That truly fills me with joy & is why I want to step back into this area.
