I grew up with a neurodivergent brother , and a little sister with downsyndrome , as well as 3 other siblings,so id say im pretty experienced in any situation you can throw at me lol! Have a very outgoing personality, and love working with kids ! I loveeee musical instruments and play the guitar and piano, which most kids love! I also loveeee nature and think its crucial for kids, and always have lots of fun activities with cool learning opportunities planned !

I worked at first baptist in the new born room. Also worked at chelle’s daycare and staycare for 2 years . Worked as a lifeguard at a childs pool (TGC). Where i got many babysitting jobs! Can send all the references you need just lmk!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outdoors is great! I love going on nature walks , or planningactivities that developmently benifts the children! I also play guitar and piano , so i like to incorporate that also! Im a very creative, artistic person and love bringing fun new exciting activities to the table everyday! Maybe one day we’re practicing pottery and the next were going on a fun color walk . I like to keep the kids active i think its important, not a huge fan of screen time , i value my time with the kids and making sure they are having a fun exciting time!

Forming a connection with the kid , Figuring out why they are the way they are and what makes then blossom!

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with an autistic brother , and a sister with downsyndrome . It’s pretty much always been my normal! I know what the high’s and low’s look like , and how to handle easily overwhelmed/ stimulated kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Although i dont think this counts as nannying moment im gunna share it anyway lol! Sometimes i babysit my little brother . One day when i was babysitting we went on a color walk! (pretty much we go on a walk and collect flowers rocks or whatever we find in the order of the rainbow) super fun to do if you have wildflowers everywhere lol! Its become a tradition now everytime i go see my brother. It also taught him his colors, which he struggled with for a long time! It felt good knowing we had a little tradtion that we both enjoyed doing and super refreshing that it benefited him in a educational way too!
