More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently teach third grade and have three years of classroom experience. I also serve in the nursery at my church, caring for children ages 1–2, and before becoming a teacher, I worked in a daycare caring for children of various ages. These experiences have given me a strong background in providing safe, nurturing care while supporting children's learning, development, and individual needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating fun, engaging experiences that encourage children to learn through exploration and play. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, hands-on experiments, reading, outdoor adventures, nature walks, planting flowers or vegetables, and creative projects that spark imagination. I also enjoy staying active and spending time outside. As a former Division I track and field athlete, I love incorporating movement through games, walks, and other active play that keeps children engaged while having fun. As a teacher, I believe some of the best learning happens through curiosity, creativity, and meaningful experiences, and I strive to make every day both enjoyable and enriching.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about nannying is creating a safe, trusting, and nurturing environment where children feel confident to learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children with special needs through both my role as an elementary school teacher and my previous experience as a daycare teacher. These opportunities have helped me develop patience, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to each child's unique strengths and needs. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and able to succeed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are watching children grow in confidence and independence. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child apply a new routine or skill on their own and celebrating those accomplishments together. I believe every milestone big or small is worth recognizing because it helps build confidence and a love of learning. I also love spending our days exploring, creating, and engaging in fun, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and encourage children to discover the world around them. Whether we're making crafts, exploring nature, or simply enjoying time together, my goal is to create meaningful experiences that help children feel supported, capable, and excited to learn.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Dallas, TX: Reva R.
Hi! I'm Reva, a recent Cornell University graduate currently back home in Dallas while I prepare to apply to law school. I'm looking for babysitting opportunities and would love to help your family!
I've babysat throughout high school and have always genuinely enjoyed spending time with kids. I'm patient, kind, easygoing, and love keeping children engaged—whether that's playing games, helping with homework, reading stories, or spending time outside. I'm also a huge animal lover, so I'm more than happy to care for pets as well.
During college, I gained experience teaching and mentoring students as a Teaching Scholar at Cornell, where I led weekly classes and worked closely with students, strengthening my communication, patience, and leadership skills.
I'm flexible with scheduling, reliable, and happy to accommodate evenings, weekends, or last-minute needs when possible.
I look forward to meeting your family!
