More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked in a daycare, aftercare for a school. I have worked for a babysitting agency called "Seeking Sitters", I have volunteered to babysit and work with children using my arts and craft skills. I have done babysitting for close friends and family members as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy teachable moments with children, wether I am learning from them or they are learning from me. I enjoy spending quality time with children such as talking to them, doing arts and crafts, reading to them and going outdoors which is my favorite!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe that children simply need love patience and guidance, but that doesn't mean you can't learn from them as well. Being a nanny is about compassion, love and providing structure in alignment with the parent's standards. There should be an interchange of encouragement for all parties involved.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember one babysitting job that required me to tend to 3 energetic toddlers at once. They were very smart and expressive! I came up with a game that allowed them to share their time with me since they kept coming to me all at once. They had to make their own story however they wanted it to go and everyone for each child's turn had to listen to to their story. It was so fun and silly! They were so into it and respect each other's time. They even asked one another questions. All smiles and love in those moments. I was so proud of them!

Hi! I’m Morgan Sky Scott, a senior at Howard University seeking a part-time nanny role. Childcare has been part of my life for as long as I can remember—I worked part-time at my grandmothers daycare throughout high school supporting infants, toddlers, and school-age kids. While in Washington, DC, I volunteer at Cleveland Elementary School and work closely with 4–6-year-olds. I’m looking for a consistent part-time position and am happy to share references upon request.
