Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love all sports, I am a very outdoors person. I love hiking, going for walks around the neighborhood, parks, water parks, swimming, going to the farm. ALL the activities and I am always open to trying something I haven't yet tried.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to communicate, guide, teach and love children. It is so important to have a loving relationship with children as they will feel safe and trust you as their nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
Growing up my best friends brother had Autism, I learned at a very young age how to cope and take care of special needs. That is what steamed my knowledge and love, in high school I took the class where you would get assigned a child and walk with them to their classes and be there to assist with anything they needed. Truly beautiful children that was the best part of High School if you ask me is creating those bonds and relationships.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I cherish the moments when kids are having so much fun and they look at you with the biggest smile. In those moments you remember this is why I love what I love. Children live so much in the present and they inspire me to take a step back and focus on the now.
