I’ve been actively working in the field with children of various abilities for over 28 years. I have learned many ways to interact with children and find that building a natural relationship with each child in my care helps to create an atmosphere of trust. I strive to ensure each child develop a sense of belonging throughout their daily routine. I enjoy providing opportunities that stimulate children’s interest in learning to help develop foundation for academic success. In addition, I can professionally assess each child’s overall development, identify areas in development in which the child may show delays and provide parent suggestions and support, provide fun activities that will stimulate growth in areas of delay and work 1-1 with child to aide in child’s growth in development.
