Hello! My name is Uxia. I am a very loving, caring and fun person with lots of patience and love to give. I love playing in and outdoors, legos, pretend play, and everything that has to do with laughing. I am very organized and would rather work with a fixed schedule.

I have been taking care of kids ages 3months -18+ for almost 4 years, including both mental and physical special needs. For the last 1.5 years I’ve been working as a mother’s helper doing laundry, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, driving, cooking, etc.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been working as a mother’s helper/ nanny for almost 4 years. I have been working for 2 families for a year and for a few more weeks, one has a 8yo and the other one has a 5yo, 7yo, 12yo and 14yo. I am looking to start halfway through August. I am used to a heavy schedule that includes laundry, meals, driving, light housekeeping, etc. My current employer is willing to provide reference.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love outdoor activities, like jumping on the trampoline, going on walks, swimming, doing gymnastics or just running around. I also like family games, board games or playing hide and seek. I am also a fun and creative person and mostof the time I am a silly goose that is always singing, dancing and doing voices.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important things for me as a nanny is that the kids are safe, healthy and happy. I am a truly believer on positive enforcement other than timeouts or negative consequences. Or at least very mild in very specific scenarios.
