Enrichment activities, nature based activites, communication enrichment, home skills, and cooking and gardening. Playing music and dancing. Exploration and art expression. Children of all ages from infant, up, can be drawn in in some way. I just love spending time doing different things and finding what delights or surprises them, and makes them feel seen in their moments and valued as important and capable.

Is listening with, working from, and especially speaking from your heart, led by tenderness and joyfulness. Watching and processing in deep awareness, to see what is being felt, what is going unsaid, and what tasks undone ...then, proactively taking care of those things, touching on those sensitivies, and handling those problems with grace, swiftness, and gentleness. My experience with special needs children...
My mother has worked with differently abled and neurodivergent kids my entire life. I grew up going to work with her. Watching her.
That was lucky for me because I ended up having two diagnosed AuDHD and Autistic children.
I know the support tricks of the best Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapist, and Behavioral Therapists in the bay area.
At the schools I worked at, I supported a few diagnosed Adhd kiddos and my most recent experience includes being a dedicated and educated community member who supports our populations neurospicy preschoolers. Ive been doing that for 3 years now and can share more about it in person and offer references.
[Additionally, I am co-parenting with a late diagnosed Audhd partner. If you as the parent are also on the spectrum neurodivergent, it might be helpful for you to know that I see you, understand you, and will validate and support your parenting experience and family realities]
