The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a babysitter is genuinely caring about the kids actually loving being around them. It’s not just a job to me. I love getting to know their little personalities, making them laugh, helping them learn new things, and just being someone they feel safe and happy with. I’ve grown up around kids my whole life, so being with them feels natural and fun, not like work. I always try to be the kind of babysitter I’d want for my own siblings. Someone who’s kind, patient, playful, and is there for them.
My experience with special needs children...
I take a class in school that works with special needs children’s. So that means I help them with work, being there friends, doing activities ect.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most memorable memories of being a babysitter is when, I was 13 and taking care of one of my mom’s friends kid. We were outside drawing. And the girl hands me a picture of me, her, her parents all holding hands with her dog on the side. With rainbows and sun in the background, she told me that she wish I was her older sister because of cool and fun I am. I just thought that was a very sweet moment
