Hello, my name is Valerie. I am 17 y/o and i'm a senior in high school. I have always been interested in taking care of children ever since my niece was born. I never got the chance to experience working for a family other than mines only because my mom never let me. Now that i'm almost 18 she feels i'm ready. It would be such a great opportunity to help you take care of your children whenever you need time off. Believe me i know parents need time away from their kids. I can cook, clean and wash if necessary and If i were given the opportunity i would take it very seriously because i would be taking care of another human being, and i would take care of your children like my life depended on it. The only downside to this is i participate in sports activities, so i may not be available at certain time, but if i was needed then i would gladly quit and focus entirely on your child. I used to take care of my cousin when he was 8 y/o because his mother had to work.

I understand some parents aren't entirely okay with the idea of their child sitting in front of a screen, so i would just either entertain them with something they would like to do or come up with creative and fun ideas. I live for the outdoors, so i would gladly have fun with your child outside.

My experience with special needs children...

I never personally worked with a special needs child, and i know it would be a little more challenging than others. I feel that i should at least gain experience before i go into something i do not know about.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I've never been a nanny for a family other than mines, but my favorite moment with my niece would probably be when we played with my puppy. She loved the fact that he was giving her his full attention and can't forget about the kisses.
