Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am i retired early childcare educator. 35 years working in childcare and Self employed for 15 years. I am widow that was married 38 years. Mother of 5 grown children and 5 grandchildren. I am also a minister in church who work with children in our youth department. Ages 3 to 12. I enjoyed being able to touch the life of children to let them grow into the person God has them to be. By encouraging, protecting them and teaching them that they are special and they can be anything God had them to be. I am 64 years old and I still enjoyed being able to see thru the eyes of a child the things God have me to teach them Thursday role playing, art work, reading, building and encouraging them that they can be anything they want too.

Art work, outside play, dancing, reading books, crafts, activities that gets them to explore building their minds.

Being able to provide a safe, loving, caring environment to play , learn and explore.
My experience with special needs children...
I have work with some special needs child in wheelchairs, Artisom, etc. Children are a gift from God. You must have the heart for a child to work with them.

The most sweet moments i had with children is when there parents would come pick them up and they wanted to stay and play at school with me there caregive. They wanted mom or dad to come back later and get them. They wasn't ready to leave school yet.
