I used to babysit for my neighbors while my dad was in the military. I babysat up to three kids at once for multiple hours ensuring their safety and entertainment. I was also hired on at a child development center but was unable to begin work due to conflict with another job.

Indoors I enjoy doing crafts with the kiddos and engaging their imagination in play. Outdoors I enjoy getting kids active in playing with toys running around when it warm out. When its cold I enjoy showing them how to craft snow sculptures.

I once worked with a child who had a hard time communicating due to a severe speech impediment and stutter. At the beginning it was hard to communicate with him about his needs but after time I was able to learn what he meant and how to work with him.
