I’m a sweet, loving, hardworking person who loves kids, detail-oriented and particular with cleanliness and hygiene especially with the kids. I’m also a dog lover. I can do simple cooking and light housekeeping related to the kids. I am looking for full-time babysitting/nanny job in Hasbrouck Heights area or somewhere with easy commute since I don’t drive. I am also open to live-in if commute is difficult for me which can be discussed later on with the right family. I am also CPR/AED certified. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have more than 10 yrs of experience nannying/babysitting back home. I have 3 nieces and 2 nephews that I attended to whom the parents cannot afford to hire a nanny. I have also worked with the British missionary family in the Philippines with 4 children, older kids were homeschooled and was focused more on taking care of the 3 & 5 years old for 2 years before they moved to Australia in 2005. I visited the family in Australia after a month to help them get settled since the mom already started a job as a teacher in Brisbane Christian School.
I am also a volunteer kids worker in our church assigned in nursery. Right now, I am working part-time as a nanny to a 3 year old girl and sometimes his brother if there’s no School. I help the mom when she’s busy around the house and personal stuff. Prior to this part-time job I was employed for 3 years in Long Island as a live-in nanny but the kids are already big and they need more help driving the kids into their activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Play with them. Do arts and crafts, watch educational program with them, reading and storytelling, play board games to the older kids. Take them to the park.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is making sure they are happy and enjoyed the stuff they want to do and ensure of their safety which is my number one priority.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a family in North Carolina for 3 months. They have a 6 yr old boy with mild autism who can actually speak but doesn’t hold a conversation with anyone and only talk in his own terms. He was such a sweet boy and I was just sensitive to his needs and gave him special attention since the sister and older brothers can pretty much do things on their own. However I decided to moved to NY and started a new job.
