One of my favorite nanny moments was watching the child I cared for take their very first steps. I had been with them since they were a newborn, so being there for such a big milestone felt incredibly special. We had been practicing standing and balancing for weeks, and one afternoon, they suddenly let go of the couch and walked right into my arms.
